Haier America Service is horrible
I ordered the above Haier 40-bottle wine refrigerator in March 2009. It stopped working in June 2009. Haier's warranty service provider, A&E, came out 5 times, ordering the wrong part 3 times and eventually determined that they did not know how to repair the refrigerator. I lost 5 ½-days of work to wiat for the service person who did not arrive within the 4-hour service window 2 out of the 5 times. A&E is incompetent. Haier finally determined in January 2010 that they would ship me a new refrigerator. On March 3, 2010, I was informed that they did not have any in their California warehouse (not checking other warehouses), so they would refund me 90% of the purchase price. They are charging me a 10% usage fee!!! It didn't even work for more than 3 months and I lost many hours of time dealing with this. I would not recommend buying any Haier products if you ever expect to receive customer service or warranty service.
